Actually all I really need is love & understanding: is that too much to ask PMS! To those who haven't been with us long; there is hope! We are all in this together! I am hoping that someone who isn't so selfish will come my way actually! It seems like everyone is focusing on THEM sometimes & don't seem to care!
I am just trying to focus on me because I have exhausted all possibilties. I was told today or reminded actually about HALT! Do not get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired! I am just lonely & tired today --maybe yesterday I was all four! At least today I am making some progress! I need people who are newer in the program to remind me to take care of myself! I am more important than the neighbors, the dogs running loose, the heat or cold, rain or shine: it doesn't matter what is going on today, I really do matter; so do all of you!

Sorry, I'm one of those "Old Dogs" who would like to tell you to "Always Take Care Of Yourself First". When you do that........you are taking care of your best friend.
I don't know were I qualify on the newness...lol... But Yes... Take care of you... Only thing you can control is yourself, and I love the idea of candles & Bubbles :) ENJOY Just "BEING" and let God/HP Wash the Rest of the dirt from your Soul ....
Wishing You a Most Beautiful Weekend full of Love, Peace & Serenity... With lots of "Personal" TLC :)
((((Kathleen)))) I qualify as a newbie, but don't think I have any real words of wisdom for you. All of our friends above seemed to hit on everything I was thinking!
What first struck me when I read your post is that lonely and tired can be a scary combination.
One of my favorite quotes from my very favorite singer, James Taylor, is, "The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time." When I'm at my lowest, I try to think of something that will make me enjoy THAT moment. Not what can I do after while, but right now. If I can't think of anything that pleases me, I try to think of something that would please someone else. Send a card to a friend who's going through a hard time. Call another lonely person just to say hi. Go outside and pet my dogs, even though they stink and are shedding like crazy right now!
Sometimes it works. Not always, but it's what came into my head when I read your post so I thought I'd share!
Thinking of you today with love!!!!!!!

The wonders of modern technology! When I am feeling low/lonely/down, I text a few friends just to say Hi, how are you? Fancy meeting up for a coffee/ gossip/whatever.. Texting is great because you needn't feel you are interrupting people when they are busy or otherwise occupied. They will text you back, some immediately. Then you won't feel so alone.
Yes, of course you are the most important person so spend time on you. (see my reply on bathing/showering)
