Hi,
I too am trying to keep the focus on my recovery as my A is off dealing with his.  it is so much easier when they are away.  Hope I can continue if he returns , I guess that is when I know I am truley working it.  I too have read this book and got so much from it.  The more I go to meetings and come on here and read the more I learn.
Keep coming back

It's an awesome book. I really understood so much about the disease when I read it abotu 17 years ago. I think there are at least 4 volumes of it.

I wish books like this were considered "conference approved literature.".  We can't read from them or bring them in to a regular AlAnon meting. I actually learned as much abotu alanon in thaose books as in all of my alanon ones.

Keep coming back!  read what you can and attend your face to face meetings. It will all make sense soon and you'll finally know you ar not alone in what you are feeling and dealing wiht.
