You were here for my very lowest so I want too share with you some good news. My daughter will get her Masters on June 6 and did it with straight A's. The most important thing I have to tell you she is still sober. She knows you can't dwell on the past yet you can't forget where you have been, just want you too know.
My daughter still has her masters on the shelf (only a thesis away) while she works full time and has a family and all. She's coming up rapidly on 15 years sober.
As for me, my college career consisted of half an associates degree before I drank my way out the door.
God don't you just love to hear the miracles in this?!! She did it sober and could have never ever drunk. I pray she is an example for many other recovering females.
Bluelady, Congratulations to your daughter and also to you . I love happy stories, for they are sometimes too far and few between. Thank you so much for sharing.
