Making the dog biscuits.

I've been having a hard time with being poor, the economy, loneliness and not knowing where I am going.  The best thing I could come up with praying for was the cat poop in the neighbors garden rather than in the litter box.  That wasn't answered of course because she is very self conscious and contrary.

So I am sitting at home wondering how I am going to get through to the next pay day (a few days away).  I am deeply in debt and feel like I will never get out of it.  I also can't find a job to save my life and part of my debt was generated by going on interviews that went nowhere.

In this circle of gloom I came up with an idea to make the dogs some biscuits as I can't afford to buy any.  The whole discourse on dog biscuits or anything pet is that there are dollar signs added to the price and they don't look too appealing either.  My dogs love treats, and expect them daily.

So instead of wallowing in my misery I made the dogs some treats of what I had in the cupboard rather than what I had to run out to some exclusive grocery to get a hold of.  I didn't have any expectations, last time I made them they were burned.

My newest variation got a big thumbs up from the dogs and they were very happy that were not turned away at the treat box this morning.  Now I have a goal to make a better biscuit!

In a roundabout way I'm getting to the point where I can give up looking for someone else equally dysfunctional as me to take care of me.  I know where that goes as compulsive and as "right" as it feels.  I can work on taking better care of me by some other ways rather than throwing money at it and hoping I'll survive.

What a powerful share.  I love your humor and it appears the puppy's love your new treats.  Maybe you could market the idea or recipe

I know it is hard but showing up a day at a time, really does work.

Thanks for making my day

I love this share - thanks for sharing, and I bet your doggies were so happy! I'm always amazed how much better my dog makes me feel. I know you feel the same! :)

thank you all so much.  I owe so many amends to Pepi and Lucky and Ruby and I have to have ingenuity to get there.

You're right it should be two woofs and one bay (Lucky is a beagle).
