Monday the 11th

Good Morning,

I have to say knowing that you are here helps me in an odd way.  Things have settled down, but I know that this is just the controled drinking state that my A is in.

There is hardly any talking of the subject anymore, I did share with my mother in-law who seems to think that if I divorce my A, her son, that he will see the light.  My mother on the other hand, says she hates to see me sad but stands by me no matter what decision I make.

I feel that there still is hope, I continue to work on me and my progress, working on new learned behaviors instead of old behaviors and reactions that don't work.

Hugs, Mary

HELLO

I feel the same way, that just knowing there are people here, makes my life easier.  Like some people really understand what I am going through.  I too feel like I am making progress in my recovery.  I am staying in the now and enjoying my summer time with my children and being grateful for the happiness they bring me.

Also reading others posts gives me so much good information and different ways of looking at things.  I am glad that you are doing well!

thanks for sharing

Julie

We are so glad you are here.  I also found that changed attitudes (mine of course :) ) can aid in my recovery.  Keep coming :)
