Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to touch base with all about Ason. He is out of hosiptal and now in a 6 month program with the Salvation Army... He is very excited to start a new life. A sober life. I told him one day at a time.  I let go and let HP take control ....  Now I can sleep knowing that my son is in a safe place. Thank You everyone for your support, I could not have done it without you...  I will contine with my Alanon and keep out of HP's way...biggrin   HUGS

I am so very very happy for you, I know what a miracle it is when someone near and dear to us gets sober (I was going to say family member, but the most my sister got was 5 years thereabouts)

Ago.. Thank You !  It has been a long hard road. I have soooo many gray hairs from this. Time to wash it out.  smile   I know he has a long road ahead of him but I am faithful he is going to come out of this a much better, compassionate person. My A son has solid Spiritual roots... Now they will blossom.(  Excuse the spelling )

Great Moonchild,

You did the best thing for yourself and also for your son. He is in HP's hands--- what a wonderful place to be. You don't have to worry about your son anymore--- HP's doesn't make mistakes. Now is the time to take care of "you" and start your recovery.

Congratulations on your wonderful news!  Now it's time to treat yourself to some extra pampering for some extra TLC for you...(I am singing)....'wash that gray right outa your hair' ' get a new do to and a manicure as well as a 'foot-a-cure' TOO! YOU DESERVE IT!   biggrin
