information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I go by the nick hummer, but use to be sunset. I am just apologizing for the other nite when I was a bit disgruntled over a lady reading her poetry in the chatroom. I just thought that because it was not conference approved literature that it should not have been shared in the chatroom. So kerisha askedd me why and that is what I told her and then she booted me out of the room.
I later thought about it and realized that I guess if Kerisha thought it was okay then I should have just kept quiet about it. So I apologize
That's my approach to life and my realization that I am so far from perfect, it's almost funny. I wasn't there, so your apology is not 'for me' - but did not want your post to sit without answer!
I believe that there has been some changes of recent that are causing interpretation issues. You're very entitled to share your opinions and ESH.
(((((Hugs))))) to you and I might suggest you post in the chat room. Not all that are 'there' come 'here' and vice versa...

I wasn't there either so no apology needed for me My take is what ever takes us farther into our recovery is okay in my book Lots of info in non alanon approved literature and if it helps someone so be it. Hope you are back in the chat room soon
My understanding is that in Open Chat anything goes as long as it's decent. However, I prefer to know and be told when literature discussed is either conference approved or not. This helps me keep my program clear. Chat is just that...people just talking with one another as in after a f2f meeting.
Within a formal meeting, al-anon only.
It has been pointed out recently that the Message Board here is not restricted to conference approved literature.
Just the way I think things are.....I am not absolutely certain of any of this!
