I certainly hate having to put up with the tantrums that A's have when someone says no to them, at the moment I am curing my new stove which means burning all the black wax and excess polish off, all doors and windows are open as this is a process. A wanted to use a wire brush on new stove, categorically told him No, he's been a real pain in the butt today, but it will pass,
LM...I think that irritability is not worse than the Swine Flu...Hey there's a connection!! I will stop acting irritable when pigs fly...The Swine Flu!! Is it too early for that?

Whenever an alcoholic is restless irritable and discontented he usually wants a drink. whenever I am restless, irritable and discontented I get my a** to a meeting.
when people around me are mad I say the serenity prayer over and over. I can not change their mood and it is not my job to do so. I hand them over to their hP and I change the things I can leave the room etc. SOme times it takes longer than others for me to take care of me in situations but I am getting better at it with the help of this programme. If I am having a tough time and my A is really irratible I ring my sponsor to try and get a more positive slant on the situation. Hope this helps take what you like and leave the rest
