Ive heard today my Ason is up in court next week for trying to break into a chemist shop (looking for diazepam no doubt). He has also broken a bone in his foot trying to kick the door down in another shop (looking for drink) so that will be another court appearance. He is now never sober. He is so far away from the person he once was. I have heard recovering As tell similar stories and more, so I hold onto hope.
Hate this disease........so thankful for the programme
I too hate this disease. I will hold you, your son and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers.
I had a young neighbor years ago who did the exact same thing. He is a chef today and the proud father of two beautiful chldren. Mom and Dad say it is a miracle so just keep praying.
Please stay close to program and your meetings.
