I woke up this morning, and have an upset tummy and a bit of what usually comes with that. Also, my hands are a bit shaky - so I just don't feel 'right' physically.
Might this be from trying to not react and change how I respond? I honestly don't know if I am getting sick or if my body is speaking to me in another way.
We've had a rough couple days, but that's not necessarily different than usual. TIA!

Will Keep you in my Prayers that you are feeling better real soon..
I know for me, there are times that I will allow the stress of my day to make me down right sick to my stomach as well.. I can't say that is what you are going thru, but for me I know it happens... It always helps me to go thru some of my daily readers, and pick out things that keep me in a more possitive mood... And not long after I usually start to feel a little better...
Take care of you... Love, Hugs, & Prayers coming your way...
When my AH was in a mental ward I really thought I was handling it fine. I was going to meetings, talking to my sponsor, working, taking care of the kids, and I felt pretty safe as I knew he was locked up. He had tried to kill me which landed him in the psych ward for almost 3 weeks.
And then I broke out with shingles. I was early 30's. My Dr couldn't figure out why some one my age had a serious case of shingles. But I new. Although I felt I was dealing ok with the stress, my body reacted.
So, my experience is that our bodies know even when we deny. And our bodies try to tell us, but many times we think we are wiser than our bodies and it is mind over matter. Now I know, for me, that is false and I listen to what my body is trying to tell me.
Sometimes it is easier to accept things without trying to figure them out. You don't feel well, so I invite you to take care of you! Is more stressful deciding what made ya feel so icky! (o:
Hope you rest, drink water and get comfy. love, debilyn

take care of you. i missed the signs that my body was telling me it couldnt cope with much more stress and strain and here i am 2 years later with IBS and various other conditions all brought about because i thought i was supermum, superwife and super friend!!!!
Hey all - thank you so much for sharing. My body does feel better today, albeit tired and drained. I can relate to the supermum, superwife and superfriend. It's so funny that is mentioned here as I was sitting yesterday at one point pondering how so very often, we (moms) don't have the option of being sick.
The furnace folks came back yesterday and we have to get a new furnace today. They will be here for 3-5 hours and then we're 'good to go'.
Hugs for the shares!

Stress is cumulative, we think were doing ok then our bodies tell us otherwise. I know I didnt listen to what mine was telling me for a long time. I eventually went to the doc who said I was living in fight or flight mode most of the time and the stress of this causes too much cortisol to fly through your system......not good. She recommended Al-anon and relaxation classes so I took up yoga (half heartedly), but I think the only thing thats calmed me down is my Al-anon programme and coming here!
Listen to your body, take care of number one (you).
Thanks Ness - I'm working on it....I'm always battling between my head, my heart - and now....the body.
