Not out of the woods yet

Well dear family,

Just when I thought I was doing so well this winter I am hit with a really toughie.

I have shingles and it is quite bad.  So, my immune system is not what it should be regardless of staying away from the steroids since May of last year.

Feeling pretty poorly and so it is a bit of a down hill struggle at this moment in time.  It sure is a case of putting into practice Jerry's slogan -  "Keep it simple."

All these years of physical abuse are taking their toll so I guess I am back to pacing myself every five minutes and resting as much as my body needs.

Asking for your prayers.

Love
Suzannah

OH how awful. I have heard it is  very painful! I hope you have what you need to be ok. Do painpills help at all?

To be honest I sometimes think about having it when I am older!

I am so sorry you are miserable. Will keep you in my prayers am right now. This old world has some awful things in it.

Yea we go along and things are oatmeal, good, healthy ok. Then life hits us. It is like that. Does not make it easier.

Wish I could do something. I do care for you so much Sue.

Much love and a beautiful English garden for you to sit in.

Suzannah - shingles are painful and I am so sorry you are having them.  I had them really bad a few years ago and the virus sits and waits for me to overboard on stress.  It then returns.  I've never had them like I originally did, which I am grateful for.

<<<<Hugs to you>>>> I've been there.  I had 2 nurse friends tell me that they will heal faster and it will go dormant IF I can 'remove' my stress or work to minimize it.

Prayers for a speedy recovery.
