Good news

My daughter, who became a single parent exactly one yr ago, when she asked her A husband to leave, has had the offer of not one job but two!  One job is safe, (boring) well paid (with pension plan etc) but no chance for her to grow in her field. The other is with a vibrant, young dynamic company, 3 month trial, well paid, with an excellent package on offer at the end, and a challenge to hone her creative skills.

Her confidence was knocked after the break up....shes focused on creating a stable home for my grand daughter, which shes doing......Im so proud of how shes coped with all the crap....so she may vere towards the safe option. Im rooting for the fun job....I know she has the skills to nail it, the company know she has the skills to nail it.....shes just has to have faith in herself. Shes only 35 far too young for boring. ...

Shes sleeping on it tonight....decision day tomorrow.

Whichever she chooses itll be a good day...she has a job.....yay.

Personally if I had kids I'd want benefits day one.  A boring job can be better.

I'm glad she is so employable and also glad she has your support.

Maresie.

Well, after weighing it all up she's gone for the more challenging job, she had a long talk with her future boss today who assured her that although the 3 month trial was company policy he envisidged her being with the company full time, and outlined the benefits involved including pension, health care and free nursery for the wee one until school age.....so as they basically head hunted her she's taking a huge leap of faith and going for it....I'm so excited for her she so needs this boost.

(((((hugs))))) Ness
