I am so happy to finally have gotten my gold crown last WEDS. I was waiting to get in for a few weeks but couldn't get in. You are saying what does that have to do with Alanon? Here goes: I sat in the dentist's chair for several minutes before he could finally get the crown in. It was rocking & even the dental assistant couldn't get it to stay still. So, after all the time they spent trying to put it in & make it stay, the doctor was going to throw in the towel. Low & behold, he said that I did something to make it fit just right! What did "I" do you ask? I don't know really but we had a laugh & there was no towel throwing that day! I think again, that there was a real test in patience that day for all of us. I particularly wasn't as freaked out by it as I wouldve been in the past. But I will tell you all that I was nervous but laughing my way through it as I usually do when I am nervous! So, I got my gold in time for Christmas & I can eat on my left side on Christmas Day to eat my dinner. What a blessing you can get when you are willing to wait! Blessings are overflowing this time of year but you just have to look for them. I for one am sending you all blessings today & on into the new year, one day at a time. I think it is going to be a good one. All you have to really do is trust in your HP & believe. HOOT

Oh geeeez dentist stories!
Glad you can chew now. I am over 56 now and my poor teeth. Always took such good care of them too. I still do but no insurance.
So I have to pay as I do something.
I know what ya mean about crowns. geez. Once they dropped it down my throat, thank goodness we got it. Then the temp they had in fit better than it did!
You nut. I bet they love it when you are there. Most people do not laugh at the dentist! I am like you, I like being around the staff and we have a good time.
I even have a good time in the hospital!
I wish all hospitals were like that one that Robin Williams did a movie about long ago.
hugs,debilyn
