I think the subject line just about sums it up!!!! Wow! Stress of life, of the holidays, of financial woes, of the A's in my life! Calgon take me away!
There's gotta be a Power greater than Calgon right? I always thought that when a lady took a Calgon bath she just got warm and mushy...What does a guy know? Acceptance of powerlessness has worked for me along with gratitude for the things I have forgotten I have right now. (((((hugs)))))
Thanks Jerry. There is a Power greater that Calgon....but if he took me away right now, I am figuring it wouldn't be a temporay get-away! lol. "Take Me Away Calgon" is just a temporary escape to block out the rat race that we call life. I could sure use a temporary escape. Heck, I could sure use a week on a warm sandy beach, waves crashing rhythemically at my feet, squawking sounds of seagulls overhead, the putter of the planes flying by with those long advertising banners flickering behind them and a cooler full of my favorite golden beverage (something I rarely get to enjoy anymore) that goes down just right when sitting on the beach. Oh yea.....boy do I long for that. Forgetting my troubles and worries and just feeling carefree for a short time.
