Alive & well!

I am alive & well!  Sometimes I don't feel particularly alive or well!  Today I can actually say I am feeling pretty good. Had a long weekend but was able to keep in touch with my alanon friends.  I am so grateful for them.
My husband & I are getting along pretty well.  He is trying so hard to put up with my many mood swings that I go through almost daily.  I think I mentioned this before but I need to be reminded of how much he does to keep my marriage alive & well!
My mom & I are spending less time together which is good.  She still has a hard time taking NO for an answer. NO is a complete sentence & there is a period after it I think.
Man, do I still feel tired.  But...today I will keep on taking care of me.
I am going to a woman's get together at a friend's house today. It is the perfect way to begin a otherwise long week.
Tomorrow(if it gets here) I will be going to a meeting in a larger city up north. It is over 60 miles away but it is worth the drive.  I get to see people I don't normally see except once a month.  I know I mentioned before that I am attending a lot less meetings.  This one is very important to me that I forget how stressful meetings for me can be.
It feels much better now that I am on caffeine.  I try to get going mentally with a dose of java every morning except this morning it is an extra-fix of coffee.
Keep the faith; I know I will !

Kathleen,
Glad you are doing well. Keep working it one day at a time and before you know it you will have walked through several long weeks :).

I am glad you keep coming back...your part of the family biggrin.

Yours in recovery,
Mandy
