new beginnings

I was in the doctors office yesterday in a small waiting room with a dysfunctional family. The tension was incredible, there was a "crisis" every other second and none of them had any boundaries.  They were oblivious to the fact their conduct bothered anyone they felt it was their stage to take up as much oxygen in the room as possible.  I know I was once such a family with the ex A.  The way we behaved in waiting rooms was much like this.  No wonder no one wanted to be around me.

Yep, those As make us become the kinda people we don't like. Then eventually we don't like ourselves. It's important to use the tools of alanon to keep us alive and positive so we don't become that sort of chaos.
Sincerely,
Tonya

I know now that the chaos showed up in every area of my life.  I'm working realy hard to have a calmer, more serene existence.

Hi Maresie,
I find those kind of light bulb moments good indicators of my progress, even while I still have work to do.
Congrats on your new beginning, and your progress.
