The stolen check

My update is that I still have not received a replacement check. I made no less than ten phone calls on Friday about it.  I got absolutely nowhere.  I am having to keep turning this over otherwise I start foaming at the mouth with frustration.

I did have an epiphany on Friday that this was my life 24/7 when I lived with the ex A.  Non stop total frustration and going round in circles and never getting the truth.

I now have to deal with this check situation and boundary up and boundary up when I am around alcoholics but it is not 24/7.

Please send me prayers so that I can be patient and not foam at the mouth after 2 months!

Maresie.

I certainly will pray for you, Maresie. In a similar situation, but with an IRS check. It is frustrating. In this day of technology, it is difficult to understand how it can take so long to trace, and then replace a check. In my situation, my only resolve is the thought that perhaps it will come at the true time I need it. It is good that you are staying on it. You know what they say about the squeaky wheel... often they will just get it greased so it will stop. My sister used to work as a loan officer, and she said that when clients were really a pain (i.e.-calling all the time), regardless of the size of the loan or thier priority, she would get their loan closed tjust o make them go away. Could be worth a shot, eh? Two months is a long time....

Aloha Maresie....Keeping doing your part and then letting it go...It's a test only a
test.  There is no perfect score and for me I would end up learning from the not
having it and the having it also.   Financial frustration was a yucky lesson for me.
