DIDN'T HAVE A POSITIVE DAY THOUGH I TRIED!

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT MY DAY WAS GOING TO TURN AROUND, I GOT A BILL!
DON'T KNOW YET IF I HAVE TO PAY IT!  IT JUST IRKS ME TO RECEIVE A BILL WHEN
THERE IS BASICALLY NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT ON THE WEEKEND WHEN I
RECEIVED IT!
SO, I STRESSED & LET IT BOTHER ME FOR QUITE AWHILE ON SATURDAY WHICH
WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY "POSITIVE" DAY!  WHICH INCIDENTALLY I WAS ALREADY
A LITTLE OFF BECAUSE ON MY POST I SPELLED POSITIVE WRONG!  NO BIG DEAL
TO OTHERS BUT I PRIDE MYSELF ABOUT SPELLING THINGS RIGHT!
WELL...I AM PRETTY MUCH A PERFECTIONIST AT TIMES, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO
BE PERFECT EVER & I REALLY DON'T WANT TO BE!
RAMBLE, RAMBLE!
I HOPE YOU ALL GET THIS!
IT IS A MANIC MONDAY & I AM SUSCEPTIBLE TO A LOT OF MANIA SO I WILL LET GO
& LET GOD & SHUT UP!

ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRT!!!  (that was me pulling your emergency brake)

One of the tools of Alanon is to just stop... and start your day over.  You may begin again at will.biggrin

Take care,
Christy

Hi Hoot,

I have a program friend that is a spelling perfectionists too, unfortunately her fingers on the keyboard sometimes fail to find the correct mark.

She used to spend a lot of time reading and re-reading anything she typed looking for mistakes...she finally started to want to stop this need to be right.  And started intentionally leaving the mistakes.

I can relate a lot to you both, I too hate to incorrectly spell words....ugh!

But now every time I get an email from her and I see the typo's it makes me smile, because I know she is aware of the mistake nad choosing to accept the inperfection and I have started to do it too.  Not perfectly yet mind you but it is fun! biggrin

There are two words with red squiggles under them in that last paragraph....I am letting them be...lol

Keep coming back, Hoot.  So will I.

David

lol ((Hoot))

I freely admit to editing and re-editing my posts for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.

I guess because it's something I feel like I CAN control or change. But I can always go back and see where I missed some things, and that's OK too.

How Important Is It, eh?

hugs,

bg
