There was a post by smartkat recently about favorite personal slogans.

I just heard one that is a new favorite, but everything that touches me and works is a favorite :).

"Al-anon Won"
A member was sharing at a recent F2F that she heard another member sharing about the alcoholic in her life and that she was being pulled into getting in the middle of it, but chose not to. Well, when she was sharing with the group she told them that Al-anon won that day. The member who shared this story also shared with us how her hub was doing the same to her and she told herself that she wanted Al-anon to win and didn't get into it with him.

I have been using that everyday since then. I want to work my program to the best of my ability so Al-anon can win and at the end of the day I can say "Al-anon Won". Doesn't mean I am perfect and that Al-anon wins competely everyday, but thanks to some hard work there are more victories than before and I can take joy in the growth.

I wish you all well in your recovery journey and hope that at the end of the day you to can say Al-anon won.
