Just wanted to take a few moments and wish you all a HAPPY FALL! I love the changing of the seasons. This is surely HP in all his/her glory. The leaves have already started to change here in the northeast. It's apple picking time. The apples are sweeter than ever and they are expecting the pumpkins to be huge this year!
I started the new season with a physical. Numbers look good despite all the added stress. WHEW! I wasn't sure about that. I have decided to take on a part time job. I am taking care of the neighbor's mother a few nights a week. I wasn't ready to take care of another person after spending so much time taking care of my beloved Tim. I feel now I can. It will also allow me to walk her dog and get some extra exercise. It's only a couple of hours a night. With work cutting back I can handle that. Seasons brings lots of change. Good change.
I am not sad this year. While I miss my Tim everyday, I can look to the sky and say "I love you honey" and know that he is looking down on Pipers and I. This was our favorite season. It still is.
Pipers is super excited about fall. Mice, chipmunks and squirrels abound! Time to chase the leaves. Time for me to break out the sweater and make soup. Not today though. It's hot & humid! Feels more like summer. But the cooler weather is coming. I can't wait.
While all of this is good, may we take a moment to send our love and prayers to the people in the Southeast who got hit with the floods. I remember how bad it was for us when our town got flooded, twice. I could feel and see the outreach of humanity from all over the place. Now it's our time to return the favor.
May you all have a spectacular fall. May your pets have the best time ever running amok. Much love and blessings to you and your family.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

Fall started here with a nice cool mid 70's high day and rain!!! Beeeautiful!! We need all the rain we can get after being in a drought here for the last 2 years.
More rain and cool temps today too!!! woohooo!!!
Norbie gets just like a kitten again when it cools off running and jumping all around the yard.....so do I come to think of it!! Midori is too serious to allow us to witness such frolicking, but I know he enjoys the cooler temps too ....speaking of which, Norb is scratching on my front screen door right now, so I better go deliver breakfast before he climbs to the top!!!
Happy Autumn! (WellI am in the UK!!) It's nice and warm here - better than it was in August when it was supposed to be Summer. Love the autumn (sorry, Fall), colours. :)
Happy Fall back at ya, you sound really well, so happy to hear this...and yes he is smiling down at you....nice to see you having good days dear friend you deserve them.
I also love the fall, can't wait for it to cool down...feels so much better when it's in the 70's.
Hope you enjoy taking care of your neighbor and walking the dog...extra exercise never hurts any of us...I need some of that. I have put on much too much weight and have to take it off...
Just wondering how your sister and her family is doing?? Hope all is a little better. Good mouse hunting and bird chasing to piper kitty.
Oh, my daughter decided to bring a kitty home for Kendra....who do you think she sleeps with..lol...of course, Kendra named her kitty.....lol
Happy fall, autumn to you ((( Kari and Pipers ))), wonderful news about the physical and I believe Tim is lovingly smiling down too... It's always nice to see you sharing in such a happy way, your strength is so inspiring
I also love the change of seasons - In a couple of weeks I'll take a day trip to my favorite quaint little arts and crafts village, a town I visit almost every fall for many years now. Nearby is a place for fresh apples and pumpkins for picking, the mountain scenery is beautiful
Prayers for those affected and flooding to recede. Care and warm autumn wishes
