Home sweet home!

Finally I am in my new apartment! 4 months ago I left my A, boy time sure flies by quickly! Things are going good! The move went real well much better than I had expected (maybe because I had low expectations since I had a few A"s helping me-- brothers friends). I am almost done unpacking!!

And it's nice, quiet, peaceful! Well besides the kids fighting :) There is a nice park out here and swimming pool for the summer! Pic nic tables and grills!

I told my A on Friday I was moving Saturday. He didn't believe me because I wouldn't tell him where. My cell phone is shut off right now. I told him he can pay it for $65 and I would write it down as child support since he hasn't paid crap yet besides a few boxes of diapers and 2 bags of groceries. He stopped at my moms Sunday looking for me..HA I was already gone! Told her to have me call him. He knows I have no phone and he doesn't have a phone I'm not calling this girls cell phone looking for him. So for now I don't know what to do; so as my sponsor said WAIT!

Not really looking forward to him coming here to see our son. Not sure how he will act, but not going to worry too much about the future just living for today. He has told me 2 times he wants to move in not sure if he was serious or not, but I politely and quickly just said NO. He supposedly quit drinking 2 months ago, but 2 weeks ago got a DWI. He says it was just a relapse..I don't care. His actions speak louder than words these days.

Live and Let live. I am not going to live a life with an active A or one who isn't working their program. I am working mine and working on me and I think I am doing pretty darn good!

I do love him, miss him and wish he was here with me, but it will be back to the same old crap I know it and I am not going to go through that anymore. So I've been and will continue to fake it till I make it!! Working quite well for me so far!

Thank you all for being here for me these past few months I've really appreciated all the ESH you have shared with me and will continue to appreciate all the future ESH you give me!

Melissa

Your post inspires me also.  A true and honest testimony to making decisions for yourself that are consistent to where you want to be.

Happy house warming to you.

Yay! for you! How empowered you must feel! You are a great example of putting the program to work, and what faith and footwork can do.

Congratulations!
