Meeting opened with the serenity prayer

Motion to accept July Business Meeting Minutes as posted on the Board - Voted on and accepted

Chair meeting schedule was posted and revised

Old Business:

Op Liaison committee- Edna gave a brief description of the purpose of the committee

As you may or may not know this committee is a place where people can bring complaints and we attempt to resolve them before they get too big and out of control.  We are all human and just because we are op'ed doesnt mean we dont have a bad day...but sometimes things happen and we wanted to act as a grounding board...for lack of better words...and try to seperate personalitys from the mix and try to preserve our ops in good standing

A member stepped down from the committee and a new non-op member is needed, Tea_2 volunteered a vote was held and Tea was voted onto the op Liaison Committee.

New business:

1. Appropriate chat room behavior A discussion was held regarding greeting of newcomers, helping guests sign in.  OPs please remember to help newcomers and guest sign in.  Open chat can get carried away but remember the purpose of our group even during open chat.
2. A reminder to all what is said in the chat room should stay in the chat room
3. Message Board A discussion was held regarding the Chat room and Message board being 2 separate entities.  All members are asked to remember the principal of a group and treat each entity separate.  If a problems arises, please bring it to the attention of an OP, if the problem involves an OP please bring it to the attention of one of the OP Liaison members
4. A quick reminder asking members to check in on a Teen message board and post replies when possible. 

The meeting was closed with the Alanon Declaration.
