information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
Sure, it is up & down, the one thing is they are only feelings, they can't reallly kill you (even though it gets extreme), focus on YOU and whatever it is you can be grateful for, it helps.
I heard recently that 75% of the time, our minds are negative... that just gives me more incentive to fight it and find something to be positive about, what we focus on GROWS so put your energy to good use!
Being sick & tired of yourself is a really good place to be in, you are primed to make changes. You can do it too, I know if I can change, anyone can.

Waaaaaaaay easier said than done, but try turning all that energy and focus OFF him, OFF your relationship, and ON to you.... Time to spend some time with Kristie, and fall in love with her again....
He's either gonna drink (or be a butthead, or be mean, or be emotionally unavailable, etc), or he won't..... what are YOU gonna do?

Aloha Kristiellaine...The feedback is honest and with practice it gets easier. Lots of time the problem IS me and focusing on all the good stuff around me as a practice makes like easier to live and me easier to live with myself. Hi Kristi - have you made it to any face-to-face meetings yet? I'd encourage you to get to as many as possible. I find I have to hit the meetings hard when I find myself in a place where my head just doesn't want to let something go.
Do you have any Al-Anon literature? Any of the daily readers? If you have any of the Al-Anon books, I'd encourage you to flip to the back where the index is. Think about how you're feeling... sad, angry, unhappy, mad, depressed... look up any of those words and locate the page(s) that they relate to and read on... absorb... I find this really helps me a lot sometimes.
Yes I've made it to an Al-Anon meeting this past Saturday and plan on going again this coming Saturday. Its difficult forme to get to one during the week because I work 10 hours a day and having Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I'm severely sick by the time I get home, but I need to go on Saturday's and Sunday's
