Was a hard one too! I am a tease. If you knew me, and saw me you would know I say it jokingly and never meaning to hurt anyone.
I teased someone in Chat. Though it did not bother them, it bothered another member.
It would have been nice if this member would have said, "hey debilyn sometimes people come in here hurting and cannot take teasing." But it was not like that.
BUT that does not matter as I learned a lesson from this member. My gpa was a loving tease as was my mother.
When I was so down from the abuse from A's brain damage, Mother was dead, well uno all my family and intimate friends were dead too, for the first time in my life I related to how teasing can hurt people who are raw from the pain of loving an A.
I asked this member to forgive me. I meant it. Someone called me gracious today. I feel far from that. I know no one is perfect. This hit me hard though. Being so happy after 7 years of depression, I need to be careful what I say.
Want to add, I am on the second day I think of a migraine. So this reminder was a good one. I am on pain pills so I now know I need to watch what I say when I am sick! So two lessons!

Hun we all make mistakes or do things with good intentions not knowing what we are doing someone else is judegeing.. Take it easy of yourself and take care of you.. You are a good hearted and kind person. Just take care of you hun..

I too use Humor ALOT to help me survive, the days that drag me down... My AFather was the same way... Personally I think it is a Wonderful Gift to have...
Your are just awesome....I know nothing was intentional. I tend to use humor too...maybe a trait of survival growing up....heck we needed something...lol
