In today's C2C reading Toyohiko Kagawa says "God alone knows the secret plan of the things he will do for the world using my hand."

I often forget that God has a detailed plan for my life. My job is to seek that plan and ask him daily to show me that plan. If I go off on a wild goose chase following some plan of my own, that is not God ordained, I often find myself in trouble, way over my head. Just for Today I will follow God's plan, not mine, for my life.

Doing God's will in my life doesn't always look like some spectacular feat. Often it is in the quiet moments of our day that God's will for my life is revealed and worked out. Today's reading states, "What loving action can I take today? Maybe I will make time for nothing more practical than simple pleasure-a movie, a good book, or a breath of fresh air...A simple gesture can be the beginning of a lifelong habit of self-love."

Other times I feel like I have been a tool through which a greater cosmic power has worked...like when I do service work for example. I often get greater rewards for this service work than the one that I am serving. It is one of God's blessings that what goes around comes around (in a good way this time smile.gif

God loves me just as I am...Just like the old song says..."Just as I am without one plea.." If I can just learn to love myself as God loves me, then I believe I am doing God's will for me in my life today.

Just for today I will look for Gods signs and I will follow them! I need him to guide me along!

I certainly find it hard not to be trying to do a million things at once and driven to perform at levels no one can sustain.  I know also that nothing but nothing is a coincidence in god's world.  Thanks for the reminder.

i read this passage this am and really liked the part where it says, "... doing God's will doesn't mean that i perform heroic acts on a daily basis; ...smelling a rose or emptying wastebaskets or washing the car is exactly what is needed"

as i work this program and come to a deeper understanding my HP, it baffles me that even the simplest things are honoring God or doing God's will.

Yes, isn't it amazing that you can be doing God's will by just emptying out wastebaskets...I should have taken heed of that yesterday as I missed my morning trash pickup! lol

I LOVE THAT SONG "JUST AS I AM"  I THINK THAT IT IS TRUE THAT GOD TAKES US JUST AS WE ARE!  BUT WE HAVE TO DO THE FOOTWORK & REMEMBER TO FOCUS & PRAY FOR GOD'S WILL EVERY DAY.
