Little actions make things happen.

I've been really putting off getting the storage situation together.  Now I've made progress the goal seems to be getting closer and things are happening for me.  I know now when I get stuck I have to take action no matter how small and keep taking the action.  I can just get marooned in my stuckness and not know a way out. What I've learned is that the way appears when I start taking action but not before then.

I couldnt agree more ((maresie)) the little things we do, the baby steps do help and make a difference.  For me one of the sayings that helped me tremdendously is, you can do anything for fifteen minutes - then step back and re-asses it.  That helped me get started on big tasks I had that looked like mountains when I was so completely overwhelmed & not coping with life.  I used to call my "baby steps" - microscopic steps b/c that was how it seemed and still it helped.

I've also noticed that as long as I keep right on changing, the changes come easily & I'm more eager for them.

Making lists helped me get a sense of accomplishement even if it was only errands or obvious tasks... I got to cross things off & I started doing more and the self esteem got better as I took better care of myself.

Keep taking care of & focusing YOU.

I sooooooo relate to procrastination, there are so many things I'd just rather not have to face. Last week, a fellowship friend gave me a quote from her guru,

"See the work. Do the work. Stay out of misery."

These simple words have motivated me to do a lot! I have more to do, but what I have accomplished has relieved a significant amount of weight. I'm feeling much more brave today, as I review what I've crossed off my list.

Hope it helps.
