Just to let you my friends know.........I have not been able to access the chat room lately. My middle son had a bad car accident and he is in the ICU. I am able to check this message board occasionally so I will. I just wanted you all to know and to request prayers.
L. rolled his car several times, was thrown from the vehicle and the vehicle then rolled over him. He broke his neck, broke his jaw on both sides, badly bruised his lungs, he has a massive concussion, he broke several ribs, his liver is lacerated, his spleen is lacerated and the big bones on the upper back are broken on both sides (I don't know the correct spelling of these bones).
He has had surgery to fuse his neck and place metal screws in, there was a bone chip compressing the spinal cord but it was removed and the spinal cord was not compromised. His liver and spleen have quit bleeding and they are just watching the situation. His jaw has to heal by itself as he does not have any teeth left, but they think with soft foods it will heal spontanously. He cannot walk at this point but they are hoping that is only temporary.

Please take hold of Doxie and her son and hold them in Your loving arms. Please help both of them to feel Your healing love and tenderness. Please give Doxie the strength to endure the emotional trauma that comes with having a severly injured child. Please give wisdom to Doxie's sons' doctors that they will have Your input to help heal him. Thank You for Your faithfulness.

I am so sorry your son and you are going through this.
My mother was in a terrible accident several years ago, and I know what it's like to get the call and dealing with all the emotion of seeing a loved one in trauma.
