Debilyn your comment touched me.  I just wanted all of you to know that through it all why I come back is because I know that here I have a safe place to say the same things over and over, make the same mistakes over and over, and be welcomed with love, support, acceptance, not judgement, but also with a reminder that there are better ways.  You remind me that I have other choices.  You teach me so many things.  And while I said I don't see my progress, when I think back to my first posts on this site I can truly reflect on how much I have grown- if only in awareness along.

Sometimes I feel like I am too hard on people. Doing my best to share my experience and trying to give little pushes towards al anons miracle tools!

 There are so many reasons "I keep coming back" the love and support of the program. The Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. The loving interchange among members. Taking what you like and leaving the rest. The love and support of a good sponsor in my f2f group. The fact that I know I can come on line at anytime of the night or day and get support is a Godsend.

What other reasons do I come back? For newcomers, since I was a newcomer once and there was someone here for me. For a meeting when I can't get to a f2f meeting. To be able to vent my fears, sorrows, triumphs, failures, successes, enlightenment, spiritual awakenings, all these things that I feel can be addressed on the MIP message board and I can get wonderful feedback from my MIP family. To give feedback and hope to others on the message board, as I see myself in them.

There are so many reasons "I keep coming back" that it would take a book to list them all so I will quit here and let others respond to this wonderful post.

I keep coming back cause it helps keep my head screwed on straight and prevents holes in my wall from my temper tantriams of remote control throwing.
