Old habits die hard


I spent yesterday evening with a guy who I like well enough but not LIKE like, as we used to say. Fun. Not much too it.

I don't particularly even care what he thinks of me.

And yet here I am obsessing about what I should have said differently or not said or... or... or... 


LOL I swear, my brain does this on automatic.

This is so me as well. But I hear TLCate. My therapist says it is perspective. You know the As have no problem admitting their faults and even forgiving themselves. We codependents seem to have the opposite problem and see faults where there are none and punish ourselves over and over for imaginary mistakes.
