Meeting was held June 7, 2009

Meeting opened with the serenity prayer

Motion to accept May Business Meeting Minutes as posted on the Board - Voted on and accepted

Chair meeting schedule was posted and revised

Aunitedway is still looking for someone to replace her for her 2 morning meetings, she will continue until she can find a replacement but has been chairing these meetings for over 2 years.

Nigel has asked for a temporary replacement

Old Business:

Discussion of the H (helper) service position.  A motion was made to make the H (helper position a permanent service position.  The motion was passed

A motion was made to post information about the H postion on the FAQ section. The motion was passed.

MIRC the program is available to OPs at no charge, anyone wishing to beocme an OP please talk with a  current OP for details. 

New business:

A discussion was had regarding crosstalk during the meetings.  The rule we have regarding crosstalk during a  meeting is still in place.  Most felt that the crosstalking issue was primarily due to newcomers who dont understand the procedures. 

A discussion was had regarding Guest who do not sign in during the meeting.  Again it was felt this is primarily newcomers not understanding how to sign in.  Any member who has concerns during a meeting should pm the chairperson.

The meeting was closed by Danz with the Alanon Declataion.
