Life after the chaos

Wow!  It has been too long since I have been here.  So much has happened, I have left my marriage of 10 years with an A/drug addict husband and I am currently fighting for my sanity back.  The divorce is not yet final and he is fighting tooth & nails with everything I am proposing.  It is hard to be on my own but I am glad I decided to leave b/c I have lost so much of myself and I have been given a second chance to re-find who I truly am, a little scary but yet exciting.  Thanks for listening!

Hi Samena, welcome back.  I am relatively new to this site (2 months or so) but not new to al-anon at all.  Congratulations to you for making the change you needed to make, and finding the strength to do it (something I have not found yet).  Good luck in your new life, wherever it may lead.

Good for you Samena

I left my A husband last night and am struggling with my feelings.
I see it is hard to be on my own, but better than the insanity I left
