here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I am so excited it's hard to sit still. Quite sometime ago I sent an article in to "The Forum" for consideration of printing.
Today I received three copies of the July 2009 issue.
The title to my article (Mother recognizes detachment as key to son's recovery) is on the front cover of the magazine and the article itself is on pages 18 and 19.
If you get a chance take a look and let me know what you think.

Cool Barbara, I remember you answering a post to someone several months ago about your story. You wrote it on a Monday, and I printed it off and read it at my Monday night meeting. I sent you a PM and told you that there was a lady in the meeting that said your post was exactly what she needed to hear. She followed your example, and just so you will know her son has been sober for almost 2 months. He hit bottom, went to rehab, is back with his family, and is holding down a full time job. Your story was so strong, and I can't imagine how may more it will help when it appears in the Forum.
