Just wanted to take a moment and wish you all a very happy
donut.gif NATIONAL DONUT DAY!  donut.gif
I did not know this until someone wished me it today.  Now I have no clue what this means or how we should celebrate, but I hope you all have a very happy one.  I guess that means I have to go eat my favorite cruller (sp?).  These are the only ones that are still made with lard.  Okay maybe I'll just glaze at it! biggrin Sorry my sense of humor is a bit odd today. lmao.gif  Here's hoping you all have a wonderful weekend.  Much love and blessings to you and your families.  Love to the critters to.

Karilynn,

Like you I was not aware of a National Donut Day. I have a friend in Memphis, Tn. who owns Gibson's Donuts, voted the best donuts in Memphis for the past ten years. I called him today and asked him what is National Donut Day? His answer was he has owned his shop for over twenty years and every day is National Donut Day to him. So I guess it is all in the eyes of the beholder.

I probably don't eat 6 donuts a year, but between talking to my friend and reading your post I can't seem to get my mind off the dang things today, so now I guess I will have to stop and buy a dozen or two on the way home, thanks to you and my friend in Memphis. LOL

No I didn't know it's national donut day; must be why I stopped and stared at a package of donut holes at the grocery today. I mean I really gave them The Look, and managed to pass em by.

Tooooo funny David!!   Karilynn thanks for the justification I needed for the
two I had at this mornings meeting!!   Yay  I knew there was something more
than just wanting to pig out!!   LOL   I gotta mark this date on the calendar for
next year.  The justifications should work then also.
