So...Scared. But ok. I got a job. In topeka. I'm moving. Again
Yes. I'm scared. I'm scared of alot of things. But God bless america. I'm not dead yet. I'm not dead yet.
I need y'all to remind me that I have the strength to do this again. Y'all got me through moving to KY. Things are different. My mom's family is in KS, so this time, people will be there to recieve me. Whereas this time, when I moved to KY, no one was here. I have the program, and no one can undo what god has given me.
I need you to remind me to HALT. That you're behind me.
That all I have to do is right what's in front of me. That I'm ok.
I'm sure you can find a way to turn it in to an adventure (If one can have an adventure in Kansas). You know it's going to happen. Just roll with the changes
We'll be here to remind you how strong you are and that this is small stuff compared to what you've already conquered.
Christy

Congrats on the job (((((Tiger)))))). Change is always hard, but I bet they have AFG meetings in Topeka, and I bet they use the very same opening as in KY.
I used to live in KCK for about 10 years. Don't you just hate all the Toto jokes?
It's ok to be a little nervous, but be sure to take a little time to be excited about the job too!
I'm moving at the end of the month, I'll be thinking about you when I'm cleaning and packing EVERY weekend from now until then LOL. The older I get the more I HATE moving. But... I must admit I'm a little excited about being in the new place and I'm sure you must have a little excitement going on too. Learning about a new environment is always fun. Deep breaths, I made a calendar of things to do every day and try not to be too hard on myself when I choose to go out and have fun instead just move things around to another day... It helps when you have it on paper in front of you and can check things off... Good luck and congrats!
