What am i doing to take care of me today???

Robin taught me these  "what am i grateful for today and what did i do to take care of me today"   so i will do the "taking care of me thread"

OK..TODAY...i took care of me by:

gave  myself a great haircut.....
NICE LONG shower
slept in and lied in bed and relaxed
fixed a GREAT breakfast of organic scrambled eggs and organic bacon
having a "being" day instead of so much "doing" day and just enjoying my BEING

what are you doing for YOU today?????

Hey Rosie (((((HUGS)))))

What did I do for me today :P

I slept in till I wanted to get up.. I was at the river, so the fresh air, and the cool breeze thru the windows, I waited till 9 or 10 before even put'n my feet on the floor...

Read two of my daily's I had with me :)

I sat and sip't some coffee while I watched the fog lift off the moutains in front of me, and I enjoyed a Bald Eagle and I hawk...

I came home, and came to my Al-anon family, posted shared, and talked myself into working harder this week to get things take'n care of in a part of my life that has been steeling my serenity...

Then After supper I desided, Ice Cream for Everyone :) Today... I took care of me...One Day At A Time :)

Thanks Rosie ;)

Let's see.... I slept in until 8 and stayed in my jammies until 2.  I cleaned my room and dug into my closets.  Ended up with 1 bag for the good will, which felt good, and 2 for my exAH, which felt great!  I think I've finally removed the last of him biggrin Now I am checking out MIP real quick before I get onto my finances.  Though it is a chore, I see it as a task for me, for I feel so much more at peace knowing that part of my life is in order. I will end the day wtih an early bedtime in my clean room.  I am hoping for a good night's sleep!

Blessings,
Lou

Opened my eyes...found out I was still alive.  Both pups were tucked up next to me
and they were warm and still alive.  Gave tummy rubs to Chloe and Sadie at the
same time and that's when I knew I was really up soooo sat up and said my
morning prayer to my HP.  Kissed the wife good morning. Hot shower; light
breakfast; credit union and then my morning home meeting right next to the
Pacific along with approx 50 other recovering A s.  One on one with some very
supportive members for and hour and then a birthday party for one of the
grand-daughters.  Two on one with my daughter (wife included there) as the
daughter and son-in-law are excited about tomorrow's walk thru on a home
purchase...Bee essed with the guys (always more fun without ETOH) and then
home at 3:30.  All that in a relaxed 8 hours LOL.  Grateful grateful grateful for
both programs that I participated in it all and have no negative feelings or
resentments (new or old) for the day.  Still one more hour before normal sack
time.  One minute at a time?    I had help taking care of me today and for that
I am forever grateful.

(((((hugs))))) smile
