It's a bright Easter day here too! I feel reminded to rise from my fears and go out into the Sunlight, to embrace one and reject the other. It's a daily challenge for me, but I suppose this is the true spirit of the day.

The prayer isn't for Higher Power to change our lives, but rather to change us.
I missed Easter..(sort of) I spent it in airports and on a plane from St. Louis to Arizona.
I came to spend time with my Uncle who is terminal. But...the sun was shining when I arrived and the huge cactus are awesome.
My Uncle has a pacemaker/defibulator. He has decided to have it shut off tomorrow. He is home but quality of life is nill. He spends his time in a recliner on oxygen 24/7. Should he have a heart episode after that, he will most likely pass. I'm thinking they (Aunt and Uncle) had a plan to wait until I got here. Either way, I'm grateful to be here with him. They have no children so.....here I am.
