Welp... Made it there early as we always do.. I have issues yet with being late:)... My SIL drove and she too does not like running late... So was a little strange as we had an idea, but was not sure, were it was exactly bacause it was in the hospital...

SOOOO glad that I went... Was a Newbie there, and she was struggling pretty hard... we were a Little nervous at first that "we" may have to run the meeting, but... Thru alot of prayers, our friend did show up... "Im still not there on the 'patience' of it all"... So i panic'd and called a friend from my list to see if she was coming (she goes to our Home Meeting).. I was Thank'n God when she didn't answer, and sure enough she came bounce'n thru the door happy as ever....

I got to meet some new faces, some old from my 'home' meeting... so it was really nice, I think I can be quite comfortable there, in the summer months when I can't make it to my "home" meeting...

This program has done so much for me, and my thoughts and just the struggles that I am slowly learning ot over come... I know that I have a LONG way to go but I am get'n there... Slowly but surely I can see and feel the improvements in my life, my attitude and the whole 9... it is a wonderful feeling, :o  Let'n Go & Let'n God has really kept my focus... It was like an elder at our meeting said... When you think that the Slogans are rediculaus and sound crazy, you realize down the road, that really they can save you from many things that come your way... Once you open your mind and your heart to Change, then things start to turn around...

I can't say that I was one of those "open Minded people" because most of my thoughts growing up was very Close minded ... I am slowly trying to bring it around, and ANY time ANY of you see that I need that shove... Feel free to give it too me :)

I am sooooo Thankful for AL-Anon and the MIP Family (Got it right Shelly :), because of all of it the steps, the sloagans, the people, the posts, the meetings... My life has a whole new meaning, and I am most grateful for the change in my life and the connection I have now found within me & my HP...
