Okay here you go a program for us cat codependents. Thanks to our David for sharing it with me. It's too funny to keep to myself:
12 STEP PROGRAM FOR "CATS SYNDROME"1. We admitted we were powerless over CATS - that our lives had become unmanageable. C2. Came to believe that no Power greater than CATS could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of CATS as we understood them.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves and the CATS toys.
5. Admitted to the CAT, ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs to the CAT.
6. Were entirely ready to have the CAT remove all these defects of character.
7. Humbly asked the CAT to forgive our shortcommings.
8. Made a list of CATS we had harme, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such CATS wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10. Continued to worship CATS amd when we were wrong, promptly kissed up to them.
11. Sought through prayer and meatloaf meditation to improve our conscious contact with CATS as we understood Them, praying only for knowledge of His desires and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to NON-CAT-LOVERS everywhere, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Much love and blessings to you all. Anyone have one for dogs?

Welp, I have done 1-8 and am attempting to do step 9 with Midori. He was paroled Wednesday and is back home. He actually "talked" to me this morning (and I believe what he said is "Where is the food, Mr.!" and when I put the food out for the first time since he has been back he wouldn't eat until I gave him some pets! So I guess as long as I keep up steps 10-12 things should be okay!
