risk assessment

In work today I had health and safety training around risk assessment and lone working.

The trainer said we have to explore the risk and dangers and take controlled mesures to protect ourselves and others.

I related this to my relationship with the A.
Risks and dangers.
Wont get my needs met, achieve my dreams, broken promises, mental torture, worry etc.

controlled measures
detachement meet my own needs, achieve my dreams alone, dont belive promises in first place.

I see now if I keep my focus on me and stay in alanon and work the programme I may be faced with a risky situation but I can take measures to protect me and enjoy my life

Tracy,
I like that.
To relate work to Al-anon.
I am a bank teller, daily we count our money and balance. If we think we need to before close of day we do a quick balance, I can take a quick inventory to see what needs correcting, or what is out of balance.

For me the risks were a flag to do more, love more, take care of him more.  Now they are a flag to run and withdraw and let well alone.  Al anon changes everything.
