Resigned to the fact that some people have no moral conscience and place little value on honesty...that is why the other half of society are seen off...just sick of dishonesty ruling the day.
Trying to stay true to myself for without integrity I end up with nothing, so I WILL hold on to my integrity even if I lose out by it in society's eyes...I know that, in truth, I win in the end.
Lost my appeal because I WOULD NOT LIE.
Okay, been here before and I have survived, so now what am I going to do?
Breathe in and out, let go and place my trust in GOD to get me through. Thank you everyone who offered up prayers and thank you too to all of you who offered support.
Mariner, I've put my life jacket on too and I am tacking close under the lea of that headland to find shelter from the storm and anchor in the next available safe harbour. Hold on, we will find it together, here within this family.

Over the past months you have faced so many trials, you have dug deep many times, and found your inner strength. Your faith is an example to us all. Your honesty will be rewarded, staying true to yourself is the most important thing.
In our eyes you are a winner, stay close to your HP and all your family here who love you.
You sound very strong! You invited HP into your heart, and there is no room for fear. With your honesty, you followed HP's will, the rest is up to HP and you seem to know that. You continue to trust, this is beautiful.
I am sorry about the loss, but from what I see, you have gained so much more! Thank you for sharing.

I am sorry that you are struggling, I to have had a week I could do without...I am tring not to fall back into the distructive path of my Abrothers life, and slowly starting to get a "Grip" on Myself & My HP seems to be still hang'n on with me :)
You have an unbelieveable strength inside you Suz, That I admire very much... You have taught me a few things along the way as well... I wish you nothing but happiness, hope, & love... "Small order right?"...lol...
Bring yourself back to your feet, like you have done for many of us here, your strength & your HP will carry you thru...

You are right, most of the people "out there" in society don't have a problem lying for a day off or lying on their resumes - it is just everyday normal stuff. For a while it was depressing me endlesly and I was concerned I'd be alone forever b/c I am so fed up with lying & liars. Obviously that was an over reaction and projecting about my future.
I am not sure w/ whom you have lost your appeal but i can assure you, if you stay true to yourself, you will find a person that will appreciate you, besides you & us here at MIP/Al-Anon.
My integrity means everything to me & I am a person of my word. It is something that cannot be bought or stolen from you, it is invaluable.
Hopefully now, new opportunites will begin to present themselves & you will find more & more people that can appreciate you & have integrity themselves.

These are indeed dark days and will be looked back on as being a uniquely brutal time for not only humanity but the planet in general, I am quite sure. It never ceases to amaze me how poorly we treat each other, ourselves, our environment, etc. etc. Its no accident that its all rolled up into one, its all interconnected. there is no justice unless you have a lot of money, then you get justice from the systems that are in place.
