Fear, lack of focus

This evening, my neighbour called to ask me about my son's anti social behaviour on the school bus, yes at first I swallowed a load of baloney but finally got to what I think is the truth of the matter.

Having laid away a lot of the night, I have decided not to enable my son by covering up for him. He can apologise in the morning and take the consequences. I am no longer prepared to self deceive myself as to his behaviour.

I have grounded him for a month, taken away his phone and am in the process of finding a suitable school as he needs more than I can give at the moment and sitting on fifteen year is not an option for me at present as I am the main bread winner.

Quite frankly, I am sick of the lies and BS that comes out of him, perhaps he needs to cycle the 7 miles to school, again, if the bus doesn't suit, I am not prepared to drive him to school.

Sorry for venting, but just when you've finished with one problem, another rears it head and it gets me down. I am now going to bed and putting all in HPs hands.

I thought that was a pretty constructive post LM.  You arrived at some solutions
for yourself and possibly for your son.  Sounds like your head is working and your
HP may have a lighter work load tomorrow.   A bike is healthy exercise.  Not over
whelming yourself is healthy.  Cool.

Have a good sleep.  (((((hugs))))) smile

Maire.... (Sweet Dreams)

One Day at a time... "This too will Pass", hang in there, your doing good... Great Boundry's.. Wish all moms would stick too..I Know it is hard, but know that you are doing what you can... Keep up the good work...

I think sometimes I am harder on my son, because I know what I did when I was his age... My son is 1 year from the 1st time I had my 1st drink...(11)... So each year he gets past that day.. I guess I am doing something right..Or My HP is helping me lead the way...Either way I am just grateful I have found so much love and support here!!

Love & Prayers...
Jozie...

Well I do think we exchange one set of problems for another.  I also think with tools we do better.  You certainly are going to do your son a huge favor by making him respnsible for his actions.

I do agree its been a long hard haul for you these past few months. Give yourself a break!  Cook something really nice for yourself.

Maresie.
