I added a chair rail and painted all woodwork white.
I used a sage green under the chair rail.
With a color two shades lighter mixed with glaze and a wash technique above the chair rail.
Floors were stripped, rewaxed and buffed.
All windows were cleaned inside and out.
All wall decorations changed places and I chose block iron curtain rods with an open ball finial to hang the steps and traditions.

A very long coat rod which had a shelf above was completely removed from the room.  Nobody ever hung up their coats and the shelf was just something to stash junk on and get dusty.

All of the groups that meet in that room are happy with the new "do" and I really enjoyed doing it.

Okay BB...when is the meeting time?  That's an awesome job and now
and awesome room.   I do like the butterfly.  Butterflies are special to
my HP and me.   Whenever HP wants to get my attention and help my
heart smile HP sends a butterfly.  I always want to go chase them for
a bit to get a better look so HP doesn't sent them while I'm on a roof.
Good Idea huh?  LOL 

When I am up on a roof I get Hawks...so more awesome!!

Those colors are soooo soft and fitting for serenity.

Jerry,
Meetings are at 6pm on Monday's and 8pm on Wednesday's. If your ever going to be in SW Missouri give me a heads up before you head this way and I'll gladly meet you and take you to one of our meetings. smile.gif
