Step 5-Feeling new.......

Well I made it through Step 5, and thought for sure I'd have a heart attack before hand-lol......I was certain NO ONE could understand, or not judge the insanity of my past.  I mean I have judged me for years, why would another not?  But thanks to the best sponser a girl could have, I made it through with patience, understanding and love.  I felt afterward like there is nothing I can not do now, like I now have a second chance at a real like, a normal life, with or without an alcoholic in it.  I found a new level of understanding for me and for others in my life.  I'm not sily enough to think this is it-I know I will have to work at this the rest of my life, and I am ok with that, knowing what I know now.
For anyone that feels like giving up, DON'T.  Hang in there and Keep coming back-this program truly does WORK IF YOU WORK IT.

Thanks for letting me share......
Your friend in recovery
