Hi everyone!

A friend in the chatroom wanted me to post this poem so she could read it. 

I wrote this poem for my two step sons before I got into the program.  I was listening to someone talking about working the steps the other evening in the chat room and remembered the title of the poem.  I think it kinda works for the steps of this program too.  Let me know what you think.

               STEPS

We are Steps, the Two of Us

Step-Father and Step-Son.

The Step does not diminish Us,

Nor weaken Our Chosen Bond.

A Step is but a Movement

to a place we Need to go.

And the Space in between,

the Here, and the There.

They start a special Music

echoing in the hallways of our Minds.

Accompanying graceful dancers

in a Ballet from the Soul.

And too, They are the Granite Stones

upon which We place our Seeking feet.

Raising Us Higher, ever Higher

as we Climb towards the Peak.

And They are also the Directions,

Keys to the Navigation of the Path

which takes us to the Sacred Place

to Listen upon the Mount.

A Cut upon the Face

where We rest to catch our Breath

To be In-Step, In Harmony,

as We gaze down upon all We Love.

So Step by Step We come, We Two

by His Love and by His Grace.

Without the Steps We would not see

the Glory in His Face.

He is our Step, the Two of Us

Step-Father to Us All.

A Special Love we share, We steps

A Favored Chosen Bond.
