Hugh Break throught

 Hi All
I have really been working on myself. I came to the realizion that part of my problem is that I have been taking care of poeple from a every young age. I use to made things ok of my A father from at least 10 years old that i can remerber. I had my first child at the young age of 16 and have had to do every thing my self.  So now I am trying to take care of myself and do not know how to do this without feeling guilty of of I do something good of myself and not of someone in my family. But I have been catching this feeling and tell myself that it is ok to do good things of myself and not others all the time.

Thank you all and i am learning.

Way to go Smiley!

You deserce to take care of yourself. No guilt allowed on that one smile.gif

At times when I have felt guilty about caring for myself first, I remind myself that if I am not ell cared for I will not be in any shape to help anyone else in healthy ways. That helps to keep me focused on myself and what is acceptable helping others and what is not.

I'm glad you are here,

Jen

smileycat,

I think that it is called boundaries. We really can't do a good job of taking care of anyone until we take care of ourselves. Keep up the good work.

In support,
Nancy
