trouble using message board

hi for the first time I am having trouble seeing any message put in the last 3 days. Even the last updates on the summary page are 3 days out of date, because if I open a topic, I will see 6 replies later than the last reply on the summary.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I believe I will need a private message sent to see a response.
