CNN, FoxNews & The Today Show reports a story of a Strange Woman in Southwest Louisiana attempting to have a conversation with a Pine Tree this morning. Sources state that this Crazy Blonde Woman attempted to do the Next Right Thing and share information with a Quacking Pine Tree. Apparently from that point the discussion became about a Blue Refrigerator.

So this is just an attempt for me to once again laugh at the insanity of the disease - his and mine.
I did try to inform AH of some information he needed to know so that he could make plans to prepare for the outcome.
But in my disease - I forget that his disease prohibits him from the ability to make plans, to face reality . . . It puts him in the place to deny, blame and defer - whether it is needed or not.
For him to say things that I know are not true - My refrigerator is not blue. Just because he says it doesn't make it the truth.
So I said what I needed to say - but expecting him to comprehend the words - I just gotta remember - I will come out a lot better talking to the Pine Trees in my back yard.

Rita, Thanks for your share. I no longer attempt to talk to the quacking pine trees, it's not worth the aggrevation. I, too, strive for peace and serenity for myself. Hugs.
I love your post. Right now I am trying to function at work with a coworker in pain and on medication for it. Reading your post not only reminded me of my AexH but also of situations that have risen at work lately. I will remembering the quacking pine tree ....
