I will be having surgery next Wednesday, 11/12/08 to remove the recurring tumor in my leg.  Brachytherapy (internal radiation) will be used as part of my treatment. 

Please remember me and my family, especially my son and grandchild, as I step aside for a week or so to try and defeat this disease.  Take a few minutes sometime to enter "sarcoma" into your search engine and educate yourself. It is rare, so don't worry, but most people never hear about the rare cancers.

Thanks for all your caring and sharing with me over the months and months I have been coming here.  You are special people.
