I'm finally able to post something positive. My daughther and I had a great weekend. Got stuff to redecorate her bathroom (in pink, I know the A will hate it but I don't care), went out to eat, then went to the auction. I know my hp directed me to the auction. I happend to win the bid on a rug and I had been looking for one for a while. Got it for only $10. We got home, put it in the livingroom. I also got a whole box of toys for just $1. We poured out the toys in the livingroom floor and looked at everything, I worked on redecorating the bathroom. It was sooo much fun.
So the A is coming back tonight and I already know he'll complain about the bathroom being pink, and he'll ask me how I could afford it. Too bad. Maybe I should redecorate our bedroom in pink too lol.
Cheers for PINK!!!! Have you ever read that some jails/prisons paint cell walls pink because that color psychologically has a soothing effects on inmates? Maybe pink will have a soothing effect on your A!!!! I am sure you daughter loves that. I wish I had an auction to go to. I used to frequent auctions when my husband and I were antique dealers part-time. They were so much fun. You never knew what was coming up, how bids would go, what was in that box you just bought for $1. Glad you had a great time!
I had no idea some prisons/jails have pink walls. That is so cool, and most guys don't like that color. I have seen a prison show where the inmates had to wear pink shorts and my A said that it was supposed to be some kind of punishment. Well if pink is soothing, even better. He did not say a word about the color.
I did ask him if he likes the rug, he said no. The cats do, they are sleeping on it. Well of course he doesn't. He doesn't like anything I do, don't do, buy, say, or don't say. I don't know why he is with me. I don't like him at all lately.
Oh, and of course the first thing my A noticed when he got home was that the refrigerator is empty. haha Well he's been such a jerk lately, I just don't want to do anything for him anymore.
Yes, auctions are a lot of fun. The seller there had such a good sense of humor, I laughed so much. There were a lot of toys in that $1 box, my daughter picked out what she wanted, and the rest will go to a second hand store.

this coming weekend will be the best ever, because my mom is coming for a visit. We have not seen her in a year, so we have been cleaning out closets and everything else. We have been so busy and my daughter is such a great help. She is so much fun.
Buick, that's awesome!!! Way to not let ur A get under your skin, steal your joy or rob you of any serenity! I am glad you and your daughter had so much fun together!
That's funny ur A said 'pink is a punishment' they actually do paint prisons pink b/c it's supposed to be the most soothing and calming color.
I did hair for 17 years and there were some clients that were just unhappy no matter what you did for them, even specifically exactly what they asked for. Detach and work on pleasing yourself! You know you will appreciate your own efforts. Sounds like the entire family, pets included are all tickled pink! Well all but one, he can join the "happy happy joy joy" train or not, it's his loss. keep working it!
