I have a very dear friend who is battling multiple cancers in her body. She has such a positive outlook on her life and her situation, and is an inspiration to me and everyone who knows her. When I get down about my situation with my Ah and worry about paying bills and everything else I tend to worry about I think of her, what she is facing and it totally puts things into perspective for me. She had major surgery on Wed. and is already disharged from the hospital because she refuses to miss her daughters soccer game on Sat.! Thank God she is doing so well and was ok'd to discharge cause she'd give them heck for wasting her precious time lying in a hospital bed!! She has never been a "woe is me" person and I'm so grateful to have been blessed to have her for a friend. Please keep her in your prayers she is fighting for her life. Thanks so much... Suzi
(((suzip))) Your friend is the true meaning of an inspiration, God bless her in her battle. She will in my prayers, I only wish her the best. (DOUBLE HUGS FOR HER) RLC
it is amazing how people who struggle with cancer and other diseases can stay so positive. I also have a friend who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in Feb. 2007, went tru a lot of chemo and treatments, he was finally in remission, and just a few weeks ago, the cancer came back. He recently had a stemcell transplant (from his own stemcells, amazing they are able to do that) so hopefully he'll get all better. He is so positive about life and I so enjoy talking with him, he has not lost his sense of humor.
Wishing your friend a full and speedy recovery. Also wishing you the best. We all have so much to learn from eachother.
What a great post. I do try to stay positive these days. I tend to look at what I have accomplished rather than how stuck I am. September was a tough month but I accomplished a lot. I look forward these days rather than backwards.
I am glad you have a good friend. I feel very isolated. Someday I will have friends again.
